Little Love Poem

Once Upon A Time

You searched for your princess.
  The stunning beauty that you would love
True Love's Kiss.
Wonderful bliss.
You fought dragons for her.
Only to learn she didn't feel the same way.

I know I may be a toad compared to her.
  But maybe you are wishing after the wrong fairytale.
I know the truth...

Maybe I'm her...

But what if I told you I was her?
  I want to be able
       to help you
        to hold you
         to love you
     We would be us at all times
 

Our lives would be intertwined.
   Loneliness would never be with us.
     We would live on
  Into our own

Happily Ever After.
